The antiques fair has been running every month since November 2015 and is very well known and popular. It is on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 10 till 4pm and features up to 30 stalls of antiques and collectibles from ceramics and metalware; silver and jewellery; pictures and books; small items of furniture.

This is more than a respected antiques fair on the circuit in Cornwall, it attracts visitors from across Cornwall, and has led to the extended opening of the coffee shop at Grampound Village Store because it is so busy.

Valerie Warrington, the organiser, says that she knows there are regular customers who pick up items for their own outlets. "We have a number of regular trade buyers alongside collectors from all over Cornwall who we see every month."

Dudley Jacomb, Val's partner and co-organiser, said "this fair is widely known in the antiques world and it has been generating funds every month for the hall for over 10 years."

We thank Val and Dudley and celebrate the fair which is an excellent example of one of the uses of our village hall.
